23-30 August 2008 – Lans-en-Vercors (France)

Before speaking below about the SpeleoBar, as you might already know, Vercors 2008 will be the big European meeting of the year 2008 which will combine a friendly and festive spirit with quality exchanges, presentations and round-tables. With its dozen of European-wide events, its 25 themes of sessions, the numerous animations and the 1500 cavers expected from more than 30 European countries, Vercors 2008 is a unique event that one lives only once in life (all the details on www.vercors2008.eu ).

In order to enable the largest number of cavers to participate to this big European meeting, at the best price, we invite every clubs, local committees and national federations or commissions to book in advance, as soon as possible, their grouped registrations a the lowest fare (25 and 38 euros for the whole week), before the 31st of October 2007. You can book right now the registrations by bank card, or international transfer : all the details on the fares and payment on : http://vercors2008.eu/registration.htm or by email at contact.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr .


To give you some examples :

The GS Vulcain has taken 15 registrations
The Luxembourg Speleo-Club has taken 10 registrations
The Lozère Local Committee has taken 14 registrations
The Federal Cave Diving Commission has taken 10 registrations
The Bulgarian Federation has taken 36 registrations
The British BCA has taken 60 registrations
Etc ...


This enables the Clubs, Local Committees, National Commissions and Federations to book registrations at the best fare for their members in a non-naming way. As soon as you know which members will come, you just have to send us an email to contact.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr with the proper information (name, email and full or reduced fare) for the cavers having confirmed their participation.

And if someone can not come, it is possible to transfer freely the registration to another person indicating who replace who. It is also possible to register individually, and the same rules of free transfer apply in case of no possibility to come.

SPELEOBAR :

Coming directly from Casola, one of the biggest place of Vercors 2008 will of course be the famous SpeleoBar. In order to share the solid and liquid « Cuisine » of your country with the 1500 European cavers expected, and also to fill the purse of your club, we invite you to book your SpeleoBar stand when you register. On your stand you’ll propose all the hot and cold dishes you like to prepare, saling them to the participants at a price between 2 to 5 euros for the dishes and 0.50 to 2 euros for the beverages. The price for a SpeleoBar stand is 75 euros for the week (or 40 euros for the half week). Everything is planned for heating, refrigerating and their is even a supermarket at 5 minutes from the village. And if you wish, you can gather 2 or several clubs to held your Cuisine stand. You prepare food and beverages for the cavers of Vercors 2008, you make exchanges and meet people, you try beverages that came from elsewhere … In a word, holding a stand at the SpeleoBar, it’s an unforgettable experience … All the details on http://vercors2008.eu/stands.htm#stands

Avant de parler plus bas du SpeleoBar, comme vous le savez peut-être déjà, il a été expliqué à Poligny que Vercors 2008 sera le rassemblement fédéral et européen de l'année 2008 qui conjuguera convivialité, échanges et qualité des présentations et tables-rondes. Avec sa dizaine d'événements européens, ses 25 thèmes de rencontres, sa vingtaine d'animations et ses 1500 spéléos attendus en provenance d'une trentaine de pays européens, Vercors 2008 est un événement unique qu'on ne vit qu'une fois dans sa vie (tous les détails sur www.vercors2008.eu ).

Alors afin de permettre au plus grand nombre de participer à ce grand rassemblement européen, et ceci au meilleur prix, nous invitons tous les clubs, CDS, CSR et Commissions fédérales et Fédérations nationales à réserver en avance, dès maintenant, leurs inscriptions groupées au meilleur tarif (25 et 38 euros pour la semaine) avant le 31 octobre prochain. Réservez-donc au plus vite, vous pouvez régler par carte bancaire, chèque français ou virement bancaire : tous les détails sur les tarifs et modes de paiement sont sur http://vercors2008.eu/registration.htm ou par email à contact.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr .

Pour vous donner quelques exemples :

Le GS Vulcain a pris 15 places (moitié plein tarif et moitié tarif réduit)
Le CDS de la Lozère a pris 14 places (moitié plein tarif et moitié tarif réduit)
La Commission fédérale Plongée a pris 10 places (plein tarif)
La Fédération Bulgare a pris 36 places
La Fédération Britannique a pris 60 places,
Etc ...

Ceci permet aux Clubs, CDS, CSR et Commissions fédérales de réserver des places au meilleurs tarifs pour leur membres de manière non nominative. Au fur et à mesure que vos membres savent qu'ils viendront, il suffit d'envoyer un mail à contact.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr avec les informations pour les spéléos vous ayant déjà confirmé (prénom, nom, email, tarif réduit ou plein).

Et si quelqu'un ne peut plus venir, il est possible de transférer sans frais l'inscription à une autre personnes en indiquant qui remplace qui. Il est bien sûr également possible de s'inscrire à titre individuel, les mêmes règles de transmission de places sans frais s'appliquent en cas d'empêchement.

SPELEOBAR :

Venu en direct de Casola, un des endroits les plus marquants de Vercors 2008 sera bien sûr le fameux SpeleoBar. Afin de faire partager la Gastronomie « solide et liquide » de votre terroir auprès de tous les spéléos européens, et également pour remplir les caisses de votre club, nous vous invitons à réserver votre stand gastronomique SpeleoBar lors de votre inscription. Sur votre stand vous pourrez proposer tous les plats chauds ou froids que vous aimez préparer, en les vendant aux participants à des prix entre 2 et 5 euros pour les plats solides et 0,50 à 2 euros pour les boissons. Le prix d’un stand SpeleoBar est de 75 euros la semaine (ou 40 euros la demi-semaine). Il y a tout de prévu pour chauffer, tenir au froid et il y a même un supermarché à 5 minutes de Lans. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez vous grouper à deux ou plusieurs clubs pour tenir votre stand gastronomique. Vous faites des plats pour les spéléos de Vercors 2008, vous faites des échanges en pas mal de langues et dégustez des breuvages venus d'ailleurs...
